Job Summary

Up to $3,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

Full Time, Days

The Paramedic is a licensed Paramedic and functions under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurse, Department
Director, Clinical Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab, and physician(s). He/she assists with patient care by performing clinical & supportive functions that he/she has documented competency to perform. The Paramedic adheres to policy, procedures & established standards of practice.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent; Minimum education required for licensure as a Paramedic in the State of Florida.


EXPERIENCE:
None required. One (1) year of Emergency Services experience preferred.


REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
State of Florida Paramedic License; BLS and ACLS certification; CPI certification within three (3) months of hire 
into position. 


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Completes Blood Draw competency within 3-months of hire into position. Completes EKG competency within 
three (3) months of hire into the position.

Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital at Delray Medical Center is the only state designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program in the county by the State of Florida.
