Job description

EMT/AEMT/Paramedic Assistant

Aids in academic instruction as well as practical skills training. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist the instructor with skill demonstration and practice.
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining all teaching equipment.
  • Report all broken or malfunctioning equipment and supplies to the EMS Coordinator.
  • Tutor students as requested and needed.
  • Keep classroom/laboratory clean and orderly.
  • Assist with inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies.

Current Missouri EMT/AEMT/Paramedic License required. Current ACLS, PALS, BLS certification required; Instructor certification preferred. Minimum of two years of experience preferred. Salary range is $16.25 per hour. Not to exceed 19.5 hours per week. Qualified candidates should upload a current resume and copy of current certification(s).
