Job Description: PARALEGAL
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Paralegal to join our team. This role involves providing support in insurance adjuster negotiations, managing client updates, and maintaining case documentation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance processes, some automotive knowledge, and proficiency in utilizing technology to effectively document and manage case files.
Key Responsibilities:
• Insurance Adjuster Negotiations: Communicate directly with insurance adjusters via telephone and e-mail to negotiate claims and facilitate the resolution of cases.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing case updates and answering questions via telephone and e-mail to ensure client satisfaction and transparency throughout the process.
• File Documentation: Accurately document case files in ATO (Aderant Total Office) software. Attention to detail is essential to ensure all information is properly recorded and up to date.
• Automotive Knowledge: Utilize basic automotive knowledge to assist with case evaluation, especially in relation to accidents, damages, and repair assessments.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or in a similar role, ideally with a focus on insurance claims or automotive-related legal cases.
• Proficiency in ATO or similar case management software is absolutely necessary.
• Strong telephone and email communication skills to effectively manage negotiations and client interactions.
• A basic understanding of automotive terminology and repair processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in the insurance or automotive industry.
• Certification in Paralegal Studies or related field (preferred but not required).
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
