Job description

Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal – 2+ Years’ Experience


We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal with at least 2 years experience handling large volume PI cases from intake through resolution. Ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a busy caseload while providing compassionate client service. Candidate should also be able to work in a team-driven environment on various tasks across multiple practice areas as needed.


Responsibilities include:

  • Managing case files from initial intake through litigation and settlement.
  • Drafting correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and settlement demands; summarizing medical records and bills.
  • Communicating with clients, providers, insurance adjusters, and lien holders; scheduling hearings, mediations, and depositions.
  • Requesting medical documentation (records, bills, reports, etc.), liens, and other case specific documentation.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical records, terminology, and the personal injury litigation process.
  • Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office; excellent written and verbal communication skills.


This position is NOT a remote position or hybrid role, and candidates are expected to report and work out of the Raleigh office location during normal business hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.


Pay is commensurate with experience.
