Job description

We are seeking the right person to assist the lead Estate Administration Paralegal (Trusts & Probates). This person will also provide occasional support to the attorneys and other team members when requested.


This position will begin part-time, with the probability of increasing to full-time within 1-2 years.


(Full-time employees enjoy paid vacation time, 3 days sick pay, along with the regular holidays and 4 government holidays. We also encourage participation in our retirement match plan.)


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to support legal documents
  • Record and store client information
  • Filing of legal documents (e-filing experience is helpful, but not required)
  • Works directly with attorneys, team members, clients


Qualifications:

  • Prior office experience is required
  • Experience as an administrative assistant or legal assistant is helpful
  • OR student of paralegal studies with prior office experience
  • Ability to prioritize and multi task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working on deadlines
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Experience with the Microsoft Windows Suite
  • Must work well with other team members
  • Flexibility and Adaptability
