The Production Associate - Panel Assembler is responsible for assembling wall panels and other building components according to production specifications, engineering drawings, and work orders. This role supports manufacturing operations by preparing materials, measuring and fastening components, performing quality checks, and ensuring products are built safely, accurately, and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

What you will do:Panel Assembly & Production
  • Assemble wall panels and structural building components according to work orders, specifications, and engineering drawings
  • Measure, mark, position, and fasten lumber and building materials using hand and power tools
  • Prepare and inspect materials prior to assembly to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
  • Verify dimensions, layouts, and component placement throughout the assembly process
  • Move completed components through production stages and staging areas
Material Handling & Workstation Setup
  • Stage materials, carts, and supplies needed for daily production activities
  • Set up workstations and equipment according to production requirements
  • Support material movement and organization throughout the facility
  • Assist with loading, staging, and preparation of finished products as needed
Quality Control
  • Inspect raw materials and finished assemblies for defects, accuracy, and workmanship
  • Perform quality checks throughout the production process
  • Report material defects, production issues, or quality concerns promptly
  • Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and product quality
Safety & Housekeeping
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Perform safety checks on tools and equipment prior to use
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Properly dispose of waste materials and maintain orderly storage areas
  • Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or operational concerns immediately
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and schedules
  • Participate in required training and safety programs
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
What you will bring:
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools safely and effectively

  • Ability to lift and carry materials (up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier materials require assistance)

  • May require overtime, weekend work, or extended hours based on production schedules
