Job description

Panel Build Technician

Job Overview:


A Panel Build Technicianis responsible forall phases of a panel build. The duties included are reading electrical schematics, wiring the panel, creating tags for the panel, and final assembly of the panel. Onoccasionthe Panel Build Technician will be called on to help customers by going into the field for troubleshooting existing panels. This may also include installation support in the field for Bastian Controls projects.
Shift:

  • 1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Job Functions:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Neat in workmanship, specificallyin regards tobest practices in industrial wiring
  • Multi-taskand handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Provide feedback on prints and "redline" asappropriate.

Travel Requirements:

  • No travel is required for this position.

Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

  • 0-2years' experience in the electrical industry as either an Electrician or Panel Builder.
  • Relevant electrical wiring, panel build and troubleshooting experience.
  • Execute schedules, keep on track with milestones.
