Description:
Summary
The Paint Line Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the paint line to produce high-quality finished parts in accordance with specifications and work instructions. This role also provides support to the assembly area as needed, performing various assembly-related tasks to ensure production efficiency and continuity of workflow.
Functions
Paint Line Operations
· Load and unload parts into CNC machines, specifically the paint line system.
· Operate paint line equipment to process and finish parts according to job instructions.
· Perform inspections of painted parts using gauges and visual checks.
· Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels within the paint system.
· Identify and report defective materials or issues to the supervisor or Quality team.
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
· Complete required production logs and documentation.
· Verify paint quality by initialing production tickets.
· Ensure proper identification and handling of parts and containers.

· Assembly Support Responsibilities
· Assist in the assembly of components and finished goods.
· Perform basic assembly tasks such as fitting and fastening parts.
· Inspect assembled products for quality and function.
· Use hand tools and gauges as trained.
· Sort, pack, and stage parts as needed.
· Maintain part identification and labeling.
· Report defects to supervisors or Quality.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Support team objectives as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Overtime may be required. Hours are on 1st Shift - 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Requirements:
Eligibility Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum one year of manufacturing experience preferred
· Basic computer knowledge
· Ability to read work instructions
· Knowledge of gauging and inspection
· Understanding of manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks
· Tolerance for heights and tight spaces
· Physical stamina for production work
Work Environment
· Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and temperature changes. PPE required
