Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–2:30 AM
Shift Premium: $4.00 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $1,250

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Paint Line Helper to join our 2nd Shift manufacturing team. This position plays an important role in supporting the efficient operation of the automatic conveyor paint line by preparing materials, loading and unloading parts, maintaining an organized work area, and assisting the paint-line team throughout the production process.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, follows instructions carefully, takes pride in quality work, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing the paint line for daily 2nd Shift production.
  • Load and unload parts and materials onto and from the paint line.
  • Organize parts and materials to support efficient production flow.
  • Assist paint-line operators and team members with production activities throughout the shift.
  • Monitor the paint line for potential production, quality, or equipment issues and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate team member or supervisor.
  • Assist with moving, staging, and organizing materials throughout the paint-line area.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
  • Assist with routine cleaning and basic maintenance activities as directed.
  • Support routine inspections to help ensure equipment and the work area are operating properly.
  • Follow production instructions, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Use appropriate material-handling equipment after completing required training or certification.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and quality goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic ability to understand and follow work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to consistently work the assigned 2nd Shift schedule.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, paint-line, or metal fabrication environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and PPE requirements.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, or other material-handling equipment.
  • Previous experience working an off-shift or evening production schedule.
  • Ability to identify and communicate basic equipment or production concerns.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms to handle, load, unload, and organize parts and materials.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crouch, and occasionally kneel.
  • Frequently lift and/or move materials weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely around moving equipment, paint-line processes, varying temperatures, and elevated noise levels.
  • Ability to wear required PPE for the duration of the shift.
