Hotel Painter & Maintenance Technician

$18-20/hr Health Insurance + Benefits + Bonuses

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated Part-Time Painter & Maintenance Technician to help maintain our property. The ideal candidate will have painting experience and be willing to assist with a variety of general maintenance and housekeeping tasks as needed.
This position is typically scheduled 2-3 days per week. Occasional weekend availability may be needed for emergencies or special projects, but this is expected to be rare.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Hotel Painter & Maintenance Technician to help maintain the appearance and functionality of our hotel. Painting will be the primary responsibility of this position, with additional duties focused on property upkeep, preventive maintenance, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for our guests.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining high standards throughout the property.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Painting (Primary Duty)
  • Paint guest rooms, hallways, common areas, and exterior surfaces as needed
  • Complete touch-up painting projects to maintain hotel appearance
  • Prepare surfaces by patching, sanding, and priming
  • Maintain painting supplies and equipment

General Maintenance & Property Upkeep
  • Pull weeds and maintain landscaping appearance
  • Keep parking lots, sidewalks, and dumpster areas clean
  • Check and maintain pool chemical levels
  • Clean and maintain PTAC (heating and air conditioning) units
  • Change light bulbs and replace fixtures as needed
  • Remove cobwebs and dust vents
  • Shampoo carpets and assist with deep cleaning projects
  • Empty trash and maintain clean public areas
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks throughout the hotel
  • Assist with emergency maintenance needs when necessary
  • Shoveling snow and salting sidewalks

Qualifications
  • Previous painting experience required
  • General maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Willingness to occasionally assist during emergency situations or rare weekend maintenance needs
