Job description

Overview:

As the Lead Stager, you are responsible for supervising the staging team to ensure accurate picking and packing of products daily. In this role, you will oversee team performance, manage staging tasks, and ensure delivery routes are organized for efficient operation. Your leadership is key in maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the staging process. 

Key Performance Outcomes: 

  1. Achieve 100% on-time completion of staging tasks (labeling, picking, packing). 
  2. Maintain 98% accuracy in inventory alignment between physical stock and Cin7 ERP system. 
  3. Ensure 95%+ accuracy in quality checks for picking and packing. 
  4. Maintain zero food safety violations during inspections. 
  5. Meet 100% of delivery & staging deadlines for day shift routes. 



Statement of Work & Responsibilities: 

Team Supervision 

  • Lead and supervise the staging team, ensuring daily tasks such as labeling, picking, packing, and staging are completed accurately and on time. 
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and meet operational targets. 

Inventory Management 

  • Ensure physical and digital inventory records are aligned using the Cin7 ERP system. 
  • Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to management for timely resolution. 

Task Assignment: 

  • Assign team members to tasks such as moving materials, packing boxes, and building pallets, ensuring operational efficiency. 
  • Adjust task assignments as needed to address workflow bottlenecks and meet deadlines. 

Quality Control: 

  • Maintain accuracy in picking and packing by monitoring order sheets and conducting quality checks. 
  • Implement process improvements to reduce errors and improve overall staging accuracy. 

Route Planning: 

  • Organize routes for day shift delivery drivers and ensure all orders are staged for timely delivery. 
  • Communicate route adjustments and delivery priorities to drivers to optimize efficiency. 

Food Safety & Compliance: 

  • Enforce food safety and quality procedures, identifying and escalating any food safety issues as needed. 
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all safety standards are met throughout the staging process. 


Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Staging Experience: Previous experience in a staging role, with expertise in picking and packing inventory for delivery. 
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and organize a team to meet performance targets and uphold high standards. 
  • Communication and Organization: Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate tasks and manage workflows effectively, especially under pressure. 
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with inventory management systems (e.g., Cin7). 
  • Pace and Detail: Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in staging. 
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work longer hours as needed to meet operational and delivery schedules
