Permanent Full-Time

Shift: 12-Hour Continental Days

Pay Range $19.15-19.75 *

Starting Rate: $19.15 / hour *

After 3 Months: $19.75 / hour *

*Rate includes L3 Premium $1.00 / hour for work assignments with demanding tasks

Job Overview:

The Packer position is an essential role in the production and assembly of our products. As a Packer you will be required to inspect, assemble, and pack products in a high volume, fast-paced, repetitive work environment. The role is on 12-hour continental day shift.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, repetitive work environment
  • Ability to repetitively lift product of 25lbs and regularly lift product weighing up to 40lbs
  • Inspect product to ensure it complies with our defined quality standards
  • Assemble product in accordance with work instructions utilizing automation and manual dexterity
  • Trim excess material as required
  • Follow work instructions to pack products into containers or onto skids and add labels accordingly
  • Work in accordance with our high-quality standards
  • Communicate and work effectively with team members
  • Work safety in accordance with Keter H&S policies, procedures and OHSA standards to maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Skills & Competencies:

  • Self-directed, highly motivated team member
  • Manual dexterity required for handling, assembly and packaging
  • Physical endurance required over 12-hour shift
  • Ability to lift up-to approx. 18 kilograms (40 lbs.) required
  • Ability to stand and walk for full 11-hours / shift
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic ability to read, write and speak English
  • Basic math skills required

Shift Requirements:

· Continental 12-hour Shifts;

o Day Shift 7:00am-7:00pm;

· Shift Rotation (7 shifts over 2-week period):

o Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun

o Week 2: Wed, Thurs

· Breaks: 60 minutes total
