Production Line Packer Jobs in Toronto, ON (NOW HIRING)

As a Packer, you will be responsible for taking crates of candy and placing them onto the production line. Your role will also involve quality checking the products and packaging boxes with these products.

• Take crates of candy and dump them onto the production line.
• Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards.
• Package boxes with products efficiently.

• Experience in production, general labor, assembly, and packaging.

This permanent opportunity offers growth with a large and established employer that is stable in the industry. Employees receive reimbursement for safety shoes up to $75 after three months of service. Overtime is available after 40 hours, providing a great chance to increase earnings.

The work environment is a large manufacturing facility that complies with GMP requirements. The facility is heavily automated and state-of-the-art, with temperature control ensuring a clean workspace. Employees are required to wear PPE, which includes hairnets, beardnets, and coats. Safety shoes are mandatory. The facility operates 24/7 with rotating continental day and night shifts (7 AM - 7 PM and 7 PM - 7 AM). The schedule rotates weekly, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. There are approximately 400-500 employees at the facility, divided into four crews, each with about 100 members.

This is a Contract position based out of East York, ON.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
