Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Product Packer to join our sheet metal production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing and preparing sheet metal products for shipping or storage, ensuring quality and safety throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Packing Operations:
  • Safely handle and pack sheet metal components, ensuring they are secure and protected from damage during transportation.
  • Use appropriate packing materials such as foam, pallets, straps, and wraps for safe delivery.
  • Label and tag products accurately for identification and shipping purposes.
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspect sheet metal products for any defects, scratches, or deformities before packing.
  • Verify product dimensions and specifications against work orders.
  • Report damaged or non-compliant products to supervisors.
  • Material Handling:
  • Organize and stack products according to size, weight, and order requirements.
  • Operate packing equipment such as shrink-wrap machines, banding tools, or pallet jacks when required.
  • Workplace Maintenance:
  • Keep the packing area clean and organized.
  • Ensure tools and packing materials are maintained and replenished as needed.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with production and shipping teams to meet deadlines.
