Machine Operator Night Shift – Kenny's Candy & Confections

Hours: 10:40pm - 7:00am (Monday - Friday)

Compensation:

  • All in hourly compensation: $23.11/hr
    • Base Pay: $19.90/hr
    • Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr worked
    • 10% Shift Differential for Night Shift: $1.99/hr
  • Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.5 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2024 which equated to an extra $6.10/hr or $12,688 annually for employees)

What We Are Looking For

We’re now hiring a Night Shift Machine Operator to operate and maintain packaging machine and scale equipment. Bag product into required finished products. Repackage product into shippers or trays if working utility line. If you have a passion for manufacturing quality product, this position might be for you and you may have just stumbled upon the perfect role!


Essential Duties:

  • Inspect all equipment used for sanitation and food safety
  • Operate packaging machine equipment
  • Setup equipment (packaging, printers, tapers, etc….) for processing/production
  • Retrieve needed formers and film/boxes needed for production
  • Report any problems with materials or equipment to the production supervisor
  • Perform all required tests
  • Complete paperwork as required
  • Make sure all employees are logged into shop order and enter production into IFS
  • Communicate with warehouse, quality control, cooks/other operators in regards to remaining production
  • Complete orders by following production schedule and direction from supervision

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good attendance record
  • Experience or training up to 1 month or more
  • Self-motivated
  • Learning, memorizing, and executing a sequence of procedures
  • Willing to work well with others
  • Ability to lift up to 80lbs
  • Firm grasp of manufacturing and quality process
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills
