Job description

Description

Western Pacific Building Materials has earned the trust of builders for 35 years by delivering on a simple promise: dependable, high-quality products shipped on time. Our reputation as the nation's largest independent millwork distribution company serving new home construction is built on integrity, consistency, and strong leadership.

We are a family-owned business founded in 1991, with six manufacturing and distribution facilities across Colorado, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. Builders rely on us because we make their jobs easier-and that dependability starts in our manufacturing operations.

Why This Role Matters

This position is more than an entry-level opportunity-it is a proven starting point for a long-term career at Western Pacific.

Many of our team members, including leaders in sales and management, began their careers in the warehouse and manufacturing roles. Through consistency, hard work, and a commitment to improvement, they built lasting careers with our company.

If you are looking for an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a stable, growing organization, this is a great place to start.

The Opportunity

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will:

Use hand and power tools to prepare and pre-hang doors for residential and commercial applications

Machine interior and exterior doors

Assemble door frames and components

Pull materials needed to complete assemblies

Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met

Maintain a clean and organized work station

Support other areas of the operation as needed

Your work directly contributes to the quality and reliability our customers expect.

Requirements

Who Thrives Here

Individuals who succeed in this role value:

Dependability and a strong work ethic

Attention to detail and pride in great work

Willingness to learn and improve every day

Teamwork and supporting others

A safety-first mindset

Experience in manufacturing or woodworking is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train individuals who show commitment and the right attitude.

What You Can Expect

Starting pay from $23 per hour

A stable, 35-year-old family business with strong values

Clear opportunities for career growth and advancement

A culture grounded in integrity and continuous improvement

The chance to be part of a fantastic team that takes pride in excellent work

This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment requiring standing, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and working around machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Safety equipment is provided and required.

A Proven Path Forward

At Western Pacific, many employees who start in this role go on to build successful careers in operations, sales, and leadership. If you are reliable, motivated, and ready to grow, this opportunity can be the first step in a long and rewarding career.

Join a company with a strong track record-and a team that values hard work, growth, and doing things the right way.
