Job DescriptionThe Arrhythmia Clinic Device Nurse will function under the direction of the physicians and the Arrhythmia Practice Supervisor. The device nurse will provide quality patient care, including device interrogation, interpretation, and ongoing patient education.
Essential DutiesThis job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Caregivers may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.
General Requirements: Current State of Michigan Nursing License, Current BLS
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years nursing experience Acute care, critical care, step down, cath lab. Pacemaker/ICD experience preferred.
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Bachelors degree or higher preferred.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Strong communication skills. Detailed computer knowledge. Detailed ECG knowledge. Cardiovascular background.
