Stroger Junior Hospital of Cook County Weekly Pay $3012.63 Shift Details Shift Night - 8x5 - 07PM Scheduled Hours 40 Job Order Details Start Date 06/23/2026 End Date 09/22/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM) Experience: 2+ years in Pain Management / Interventional Radiology; ICU experience preferred License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in Pain Management and Interventional Radiology - Ability to float within scope as required by facility needs Description: This position involves providing nursing care in Pain Management and Interventional Radiology. The shift will consist of five 8-hour days from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Clinicians will participate in an on-call rotation assigned weekly, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Staff will be required to float within units as necessary. Call requirements include weekdays from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. Every other weekend will be required, with occasional weekend day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Registered nurses will be responsible for wearing lead during procedures. Two professional references from recent employers will be collected prior to the start of the assignment. Additional skills in angioplasty, carotid stenting, and radiation safety are preferred.

Compliance with all floating requirements and scheduling policies is expected. Candidate must be responsive and meet all required documentation in a timely manner.
