Senior Estimator – Construction Industry


The Senior Estimator plays a key role in shaping project success—leading the estimating process for large-scale commercial and pre-engineered steel building projects. You’ll take ownership of bids from start to finish, producing accurate, competitive estimates that set the standard for quality and profitability. You’ll collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to analyze plans, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure every proposal reflects precision and value. Your insights will drive smarter decisions and stronger project outcomes.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full estimation process for diverse construction projects—from design phase through bid submission.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and material requirements to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals.
  • Partner with subcontractors and vendors to secure the best pricing and build lasting relationships.
  • Identify value-engineering opportunities and assess risk factors to enhance project profitability.
  • Leverage cost data and completed project analyses to continuously refine estimating accuracy and performance.
  • Manage RFIs, documentation, and communication to ensure seamless coordination across teams.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial or pre-engineered metal building construction
  • Expertise with Sage 300, Sage Estimating, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of labor, materials, and construction methods
  • Proven ability to manage multiple bids with accuracy and efficiency
