Job description

Concrete Supervisor | Logan, UT


Nexeo is seeking an experienced and hands-on Concrete Supervisor to lead concrete operations for steel building construction projects. This leadership role oversees the installation of footings, foundations, and flatwork that support pre-engineered steel structures.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can efficiently manage crews while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a crew of 5–7 concrete laborers and finishers
  • Coordinate and oversee all concrete activities, including footings, foundations, slab work, and flatwork
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Plan daily work activities and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are prepared
  • Maintain job site safety and enforce OSHA standards
  • Ensure quality control in grading, forming, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing
  • Collaborate with project managers and steel erection teams to maintain schedules
  • Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and performance
  • Troubleshoot field issues and problem-solve in real time


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in concrete construction (footings, walls, and/or flatwork required)
  • Previous experience leading or supervising crews preferred
  • Strong knowledge of forming systems, rebar placement, and finishing techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


Pay

$75,000–$85,000 annually


Schedule

Full Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
