With our home office and plant located in Portland, Tennessee; and sales & engineering offices in Cullman, AL and Nashville, NC, Ascent is a full-service pre-engineered building manufacturer. On-site positions are available in Portland, Tennessee and Cullman, Alabama facilities.

Ascent is looking for experienced MBS & Tekla (Metal Building Software) users. Engineering at Ascent could be cross functional based on education and experience.

  • Experience in estimating, design, or detailing utilizing MBS (Metal Building Software)

Education & Licensing

  • BS degree in engineering is preferred for design engineer candidates (Professional Engineer is a plus, but not a requirement)
  • BS or associate's degree in engineering, building science, or engineering technology is preferred for estimators
  • Associates degree in drafting or engineering technology is preferred for detailers and checkers
