Design Systems Builders (DSB), the self-performance, pre-engineered metal building division of T.W. Frierson, is seeking a skilled Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Superintendent to join our collaborative and innovative team. What We're Looking ForMinimum of a high school diploma or GEDMust possess a valid, state-issued driver's licenseMinimum 5 years of work experience as a PEMB SuperintendentIn-Depth knowledge and experience in PEMB erection and sequencingAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawingsMust have basic competencies in mathematics and be able to perform math operations rapidly and accuratelyExcellent supervisory skills with ability to directly supervise up to 50 employees working in smaller teams.Good interpersonal skills with customer-service orientation as well as ability to maintain confidentialityExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to produce quality work in an efficient manner with little supervision in an ever-changing environmentProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based applicationsAbility to operate basic office equipment including computer, printer, copier, fax, scanner, and mobile phone/radioAbility to operate pickup truck, transit & level, scissor lift, boomlift, forklift, and hand toolsCurrent OSHA Construction 30-Hour certificationCurrent basic first aid/CPR certificationMust complete Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace Supervisor Training within 6 months of being in positionWillingness to travel as needed for occasional out-of-town assignments.
