Job Title: Sales Representative – Self-Storage Manufacturing
Position Summary
Steel amp; Metal Systems, Inc. is a growing business in Blackshear, GA. We are a professional and agile company. Steel amp; Metal Systems designs, sells, manufactures, and constructs metal buildings for the self-storage industry.
The Sales Representative drives revenue by selling manufactured self-storage building components, roll-up doors, and relocatable storage units. This role focuses on identifying prospective developers, facility owners, and general contractors to provide customized, engineered storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Identify and target commercial real estate developers, existing self-storage owners, and general contractors.
  • Consultative Selling: Analyze architectural blueprints, site plans, and zoning requirements to recommend optimal layout designs.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update CRM records to track sales stages from initial cold outreach to contract signing.
  • Industry Networking: Attend national and regional self-storage trade shows (e.g., SSA, ISS) to build brand presence and secure leads.
  • Project Hand-off: Ensure seamless transition of closed deals to the project management and manufacturing teams for production.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 3–5 years of sales experience in the self-storage industry or pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB)
