Application Instructions
Chaparral is seeking a skilled Electric Heat Trace Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Electric Heat Trace Systems for industrial and commercial applications.
Position Description
  • Assemble, install, and maintain electric heat trace systems.
  • Perform electrical calculations to support system installations.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings to guide installations effectively.
  • Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with the repair of equipment and electrical faults.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chaparral Insulation Supervisor for installation coordination.
  • Document all work performed and provide progress updates to associated parties.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Work outdoors in various environmental conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures.

Position Requirements
  • Bi-Lingual required (English/Spanish).
  • Basic Electrical Knowledge Required
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • License Electrician not required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience using handheld electrical meters, hand tools, and power tools effectively and safely
