Job description

Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a fast-growing, woman-owned supplier in the multifamily and hospitality construction industry looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Outside Sales Representative. This is a direct-hire, business-to-business (B2B) sales role where you will be responsible for building relationships with builders, general contractors, developers, architects, plumbing suppliers, and property management agencies. Your contributions will directly impact their success, and you'll be joining a fast-paced yet supportive environment. This position requires experience in the plumbing fixture industry and allows the successful candidate to reside anywhere in the U.S. We offer excellent commissions. Responsibilities:
  • High-volume cold calling to identify prospective clients
  • Get products specified by architects, builders, developers etc
  • Work with Hubspot to export potential accounts to contacts
  • Responsible for the overall customer experience and coordination with all parties involved in each transaction
  • Manage a customer base, while continuously developing new business
  • Maintain a professional image consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Travel, and the ability to travel overnight when necessary.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • You're a competitor
  • You are a “hunter” and relationship builder
  • You tell stories about how you made something happen instead of excuses of why you couldn't
  • Three years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrated ability to exceed minimum sales goals
  • Experience in the AEC, builder or building materials industry
  • Demonstrated ability to connect quickly with people in an outgoing, friendly manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer and technology proficiency, including MacOS, CRM software, iOS/Android, and Microsoft Office
  • Upbeat, high energy, and looking to work in a fast-paced environment
