Job description

Come join a company who is a key leader in the industry scaling the next core commerce infrastructure and on the path from $100M to $500M! Founded in 2012, Salsify helps brand manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in over 80 countries collaborate to win on the digital shelf. As the market leader globally, our products are shopper-centric, frictionless, and create memorable commerce experiences. Our products provide a competitive edge through experiences that improve brand trust, amplify product differentiation and assortments, increase conversion rate, improve profit margins, and speed time to market.
Learn how the world's largest brands, including Mars, L'Oreal, Coca-Cola, Bosch, and GSK, as well as retailers and distributors such as E.Leclerc, Carrefour, Metro, and Intermarché use Salsify everyday to stand out on the digital shelf.
At Salsify, we strive to embody an equitable, diverse, and inclusive company culture. We are united across countries, levels, tenures, and a host of other dimensions of diversity. We understand that while work is just one aspect of who we are, a truly inclusive culture accounts for the full authenticity of every single human being that works here.
About the Opportunity
We're seeking a senior leader to guide our largest customers in modernizing their commerce programs through strategic people, process, and technology recommendations. You will not be managing dozens of accounts; instead, you will work with a cross-functional team at Salsify to focus on a small set of Salsify's most complex, global customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping these brands navigate massive digital business transformations. You are the bridge between Salsify's product and services capabilities and the customer's long-term business outcomes.
How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Strategic Advisory: Partner with executive level stakeholders at global brand manufacturers, in collaboration with Salsify's Sales, Customers Success, Services, Product and Enterprise Architect teams, to define their program and technology programs and roadmaps. Present, consult and sell through these visions in partnership with Sales
  • Program Orchestration: Help oversee the complex program roll-out to ensure KPIs are hit in partnership with Salsify's Professional Services team.
  • Business Transformation: Identify organizational silos and process bottlenecks within the customer's organization. You will consult on change management, helping brands transition from legacy solutions to modern tech stacks. These transformations often include taking over legacy PIMs or other systems that require awareness to navigate internal politics within a brand
  • Value Realization: Define and track KPIs to ensure the customer is seeing a tangible ROI from the Salsify platform
  • Product Advocacy: Work closely with Salsify's Product and Engineering teams to advocate for the needs of our largest customers, in partnership with the Global Customer Success team, influencing the core product roadmap based on high-level enterprise requirements

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:
  • Consultant Skillset: Experience preferred leading large-scale digital transformation projects at a consulting agency. A consulting skillset and framework will be required even if you have not worked at a consulting firm
  • Industry Expert: You have deep domain expertise in eCommerce, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or Brand Management. You understand the pain points of getting a product from a PIM to a retailer like Amazon, Walmart or Tesco
  • Executive Presence: You are comfortable with executives, not just presenting to them but conversing with them and earning their trust as an advisor. You know how to manage complex political environments within global "Fortune 500" organizations to drive consensus and action
  • Product-Led Architect: You have a Product Management approach to delivery. You think in terms of increments, value cycles, and roadmaps, rather than just check-the-box milestones.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of professional experience in technology consulting, large scale digital program delivery.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar engagements or transformation programs for or with global clients
  • Deep understanding of the Retail/eCommerce technology and business ecosystem (PIM, DAM, ERP, and Syndication networks)
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to distill complex technical architecture into business value for non-technical executives
  • Experience with Salsify or similar PXM/MDM platforms is a significant plus, but the ability to master complex SaaS environments is the core requirement.
