Pre-Litigation Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a multi-state personal injury firm representing injured victims in 6 states. We understand a fundamental truth of personal injury law: Pre-litigation is not just a stepping stone to litigation; it is a vital, specialized practice all its own. We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Litigation Attorney to take absolute ownership of this critical phase. We know that not every attorney wants to be a litigator in the courtroom, and that is exactly what we are looking for. We want a master negotiator, a strategic thinker, and a leader who thrives on maximizing case value before a lawsuit is ever filed.

In this role, you will lead a pre-litigation team and serve as the face of the firm to our clients. If you are passionate about providing unparalleled customer service, building strong client relationships, and strategically positioning cases for early, high-value settlements, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a robust personal injury pre-litigation caseload from intake through settlement, taking full responsibility for the strategy and progression of each case.

  • Serve as a compassionate, communicative advocate for our clients. Keep them consistently informed, manage their expectations, and ensure they feel supported throughout their recovery and legal journey.

  • Direct and collaborate with a dedicated support team of case managers, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure cases are built efficiently and effectively.

  • Review medical records, evaluate claim value, draft compelling demand letters, and aggressively negotiate with insurance adjusters to secure top-dollar settlements.

  • When a case cannot be settled fairly in pre-litigation, meticulously prepare and transition the file to our litigation department with a comprehensive strategic overview.

Qualifications
  • Must possess an active license in good standing with the State Bar of California.

  • 2 to 5 years of focused experience managing personal injury pre-litigation cases.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of maintaining high client satisfaction and resolving client concerns with empathy and professionalism.

  • A strong history of successfully negotiating with insurance companies and maximizing settlement values.

  • Ability to confidently lead, delegate to, and inspire a legal support team.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing a high volume of cases without sacrificing quality.

  • Open to Attorneys looking to transition and have a strong desire to enter this area of law.
