Our client, a plaintiffs' personal injury firm in Naples, Florida, seeks a prelitigation managing attorney. This position is responsible for overseeing case strategy, case management, client communication, and negotiation efforts to maximize case value while ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to firm standards. You will oversee all settlements. The Attorney also serves as the functional leader of the pre-litigation team, providing day-to-day guidance, oversight, and direction to ensure consistency in case handling, workflow efficiency, and overall team performance.
The Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney provides legal expertise and strategic direction in handling and negotiating personal injury claims in a high-volume environment. This role is responsible for overseeing case managers, evaluating cases, advising clients, ensuring negotiations with insurance carriers and opposing counsel are maximized, and driving cases to resolution efficiently. Must have a deep understanding of personal injury law, insurance practices, and damages evaluation to achieve optimal outcomes for clients while maintaining professionalism, urgency, and accountability.
Requirements
โ€ข Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
โ€ข Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar (or applicable jurisdiction)
โ€ข Minimum of 3-5 years of Plaintiff Personal Injury experience required (5+ years preferred)
โ€ข Proven experience handling pre-litigation cases and negotiating settlements
โ€ข Experience working in a high-volume personal injury environment strongly preferred
