Employees may be responsible for mixing dough, shaping baked goods, operating ovens, and ensuring that products are fresh and ready for customers in the morning. This role often requires attention to detail, time management, and sometimes customer service skills if the bakery opens before dawn. Working overnight can be physically demanding but also provides a quieter environment and the satisfaction of seeing fresh baked goods ready each day.

What are some common challenges faced by employees working the overnight shift in an Italian bakery, and how can they be managed?

Employees may need to adapt their sleep routines and practice good sleep hygiene to stay alert and focused during their shift.
