The Fleet and Facilities Coordinator helps keep more than 40 company trucks and drivers, more than 10 trailers, tools, equipment, and facilities organized, maintained, and ready for field work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate vehicle and trailer maintenance, repairs, DOT inspections, towing, warranty work, tires, and vendor service.
  • Monitor maintenance needs using telematics and GPS systems, mileage information, driver reports, and service records.
  • Respond to breakdowns and urgent repair issues, coordinate vendors, and follow repairs through completion.
  • Inspect, prepare, load, and stage trucks, trailers, tools, equipment, and materials for scheduled tower work.
  • Maintain inventories of tools, equipment, parts, supplies, and truck contents.

  • Maintain the shop, warehouse, yard, truck bays, and other company facilities.
  • Coordinate outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and facility services.
  • Pick up and deliver vehicles, trailers, parts, tools, supplies, and job materials as needed.
  • Maintain accurate fleet, maintenance, inventory, repair, and facility records.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • General mechanical knowledge and practical troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience in fleet, facilities, equipment, shop, warehouse, maintenance, construction, utility, telecommunications, field service, or a similar environment.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, follow-through, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to learn SharePoint, telematics and GPS systems, and maintenance-tracking systems.
  • Ability to safely tow trailers within applicable licensing and equipment requirements.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or obtain company-provided certification.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and perform physical work in shop, warehouse, yard, vehicle, and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to handle occasional after-hours needs and overnight or long-distance travel.

Preferred qualifications include a CDL; DOT fleet experience; telematics or GPS administration experience; forklift or skid-steer experience; and automotive, small-engine, electrical, wiring, welding-support, carpentry, or general facilities-maintenance experience.
SCHEDULE
This position primarily works Monday through Friday, with an early start preferred. Hours may vary based on vehicle returns, crew departures, weather, breakdowns, and other operational needs.
Occasional after hours response and overnight travel may be required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • $27-$32 per hour, based on experience.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with Tower MRL paying 60% of premiums.
  • Company-paid life and AD&D insurance.
  • 80 hours of PTO accrual during the first year.
  • Up to 10 paid holidays per year after the applicable waiting period.
  • 401(k) with company match up to 4%, subject to eligibility and plan terms.
  • Annual boot allowance of up to $200 after 90 days.
