Job description

Overnight Caregiver (Consistent Schedule – Choose Your Nights!) Some weekday afternoon fill in shifts potentially available as well!
Location: Sahuarita, AZ
Pay: $19/hour (part time)

UCPSA is seeking a confident, compassionate caregiver to support an elementary-aged girl in her home during overnight hours in Sahuarita. This is a highly consistent, predictable role—ideal for someone who values routine, independence, and a calm overnight environment.
There is also a potential opportunity for adding weekday afternoon (3:30-6:30p) fill in shifts as well!

Why this role works:
✔ Choose 2 consistent overnight shifts that fit your life
✔ Reliable schedule (this family rarely cancels)
✔ Quiet, low-activity environment for much of the shift
✔ Supportive home setting with a family member always present
✔ Opportunity to make a meaningful impact with one individual
What you’ll do:
-Provide overnight supervision to ensure safety
-Assist with occasional wakeups (restroom support/personal care), calming guidance back to sleep
-Use redirection and a calm presence to support a restful environment
-Respond thoughtfully and confidently if behaviors arise

Who you are:
-Experienced working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges
-Calm, patient, and steady under pressure
-Comfortable using redirection and thinking on your feet
-Reliable and committed to a consistent weekly schedule

Important to know:
While most of the shift is quiet, there are times when the individual may become dysregulated. This can include behaviors such as yelling or attempts to hit, scratch, or throw objects. Training and support are provided, and a family member is always present in the home.

Available Shifts (choose any 2):
-Sunday 10:00 PM – Monday 6:00 AM
-Monday 10:00 PM – Tuesday 6:00 AM
-Tuesday 10:00 PM – Wednesday 6:00 AM
-Wednesday 10:00 PM – Thursday 6:00 AM
Requirements:
