Description

Are you tired of dealing with the constant flow of waiters?  Are you a self-sufficient Technician who doesn't need constant monitoring and guidance? Are you somewhat of a night owl?  If this sounds like you, we want to talk to you!  McGrath Honda of St. Charles is currently seeking to fill 2 overnight Automotive Technician roles.  The ideal candidates have 3+ years of Automotive Technician experience, are self motivated and self sufficient, and are comfortable working on all makes and models.  Our unique service department is open 24 hours a day Mon-Fri and not only handles daily service carryover, but also has overnight advisors taking in clients at all hours of the night!  If this sounds like an intriguing opportunity for you, please submit your resume for a quick and easy interview process!

Duties

· Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards

· Diagnose causes of any malfunction and perform repairs as necessary

· Ability to handle a busy work environment

· Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts

· Document work performed for every repair order

· Perform video multi-point inspections

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

· Customer service focused

· Focused on fixing repairs right the first time

· Ability to apply logical thinking and decision making based on procedures and guidelines supplied in the various task assignments

· Skill to perform numerous tasks as requested

· Basic computer skills

Experience

· Experience with working on variety of car brands

· 3+ years of automotive experience required

· Prior service shop experience is a must.

· ASE certified is a plus

· Honda experience is a plus
