Job description

AKA University City is hiring for an Overnight Guest Services Associate with 1+ years' guest services experience!
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Engage all residents with an upbeat can-do attitude.
  • Act as an ambassador for AKA University City and the AKA brand as a whole.
  • Knowledge of means of transportation to and from property and local attractions (i.e. bus, subway, train, cab, walk, etc.). Must be able to provide personalized recommendations.
  • Be quick and resourceful and anticipate residents' needs. contacting car service/taxi, etc).
  • Assist residents whenever possible (i.e. making dinner reservations,
  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of Guest Service experience.
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

DESIRED SKILLS
  • Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong resident service skills.
  • Demonstrated energetic, self-motivating and a "can-do" positive attitude.
