Family Medicine Core Faculty – Full-Time | Georgia (Community-Based Teaching Hospital)

A progressive, community-focused regional health system in Georgia is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician to join a growing ACGME-accredited residency program. This role offers a blend of outpatient continuity care, resident education, curriculum development, and protected administrative time — ideal for physicians passionate about teaching and shaping future family physicians.

Position Overview

  • Full-time Family Medicine Core Faculty position
  • Ideal candidate has prior GME or teaching experience, but not required
  • Monday–Friday schedule, 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Weekly structure includes:
    • 2 clinic days
    • 1 precepting day
    • Dedicated GME administrative/education time
  • No overnight call unless choosing optional OB or inpatient adult medicine coverage
  • Provide full-spectrum FM continuity care in a modern outpatient clinic
  • Teach and supervise residents through:
    • Precepting
    • Didactic lectures
    • Curriculum development
    • Program innovation and scholarly collaboration
  • Opportunities to teach and supervise residents in low-risk obstetrics and inpatient care
