Senior CRNA- NYP/Lower Manhattan Hospital
At NYP/Lower Manhattan Hospital Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) deliver incredible care, they provide patient-centered anesthesia for all types of surgical procedures, including cardiac, vascular and neurosurgery. Nurse Anesthetists administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical, obstetric and diagnostic procedures.
Bring your passion for team building and drive excellence across the anesthesia department. Coordinate all aspects of clinical care to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services to our patients. Assist with unit administration, including the management of staffing needs. Coordination of the Student Nurse Anesthetist Program, Counsel CRNAs on a regular basis, providing staff development, planning activities, recognition, and training sessions to increase morale, professionalism and cohesion among employees and students. Foster collaboration and independent thinking.
This is a full-time position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.
Required Criteria
• At least three (3) years CRNA experience with demonstrated peer leadership and additional administrative management experience
• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• BCLS certification
• Knowledge of scheduling software and personnel management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
