Job description

Who doesn’t love doughnuts? TDP Bakery exists to bring fresh indulgent bakery products to places where people could normally never enjoy them. Fresh, never frozen, bakery is just better. Through our BakeFace™ brand private-label partnerships, we supply a broad portfolio of Honestly Fresh™ baked goods to retailers nationwide.

We are hiring Overnight Route Drivers to deliver fresh-baked products from our Baton Rouge distribution center to local customers. We provide paid training, equipment, and delivery vehicles - you bring a positive attitude and commitment to safety and customer service. During onboarding, you'll receive three days of hands-on training alongside experienced drivers. You'll also complete Smith System training, driving assessments, and equipment training to get you are set up for success.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections using handheld devices
  • Load and organize products for delivery routes
  • Safely operate a 10-foot box truck while following all traffic laws and company safety policies
  • Use handheld devices and navigation tools for route management
  • Deliver products accurately to stores, verify invoices, rotate stock, remove expired products, and restock according to planograms
  • Maintain professional interactions with customers and store personnel
  • Unload returns and clean vehicle/equipment after routes
Required Qualifications and Physical Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Minimum 3 years of consistent driving history with a valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain a copy of past three-year driving record (MVR) prior to interview. Can be obtained online: https://payments.ncdot.gov/
  • Availability to work overnight shifts between 6 PM–6 AM, including weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable driving a 10-foot box truck in various traffic conditions
  • Clean pre-employment drug screen required, including marijuana
  • Strong safety awareness, professionalism, and coachability

  • $500 Sign-On Bonus ($100 after 30 days. $400 after 90 days)
