Description

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.ย 


The individual is a 14-year-old girl who needs caregiver support with ADLs, personal hygiene, her nighttime routine, and getting ready for school in the mornings.ย 


By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $15.00 hourly.


Schedule: Shifts available Monday to Sunday from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

  • Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activitiesย 
  • Assisting with personal hygiene tasksย 
  • Meal preparation and light cleaningย 
  • Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environmentย 
  • Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointmentsย 
  • Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
  • Complete daily progress notes

ย Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screeningย 
  • Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.ย 
  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Are 18 years of age or olderย
