Job description

About Outreach
Outreach, founded in 2014, is the only complete agentic AI platform for revenue teams. Outreach infuses agentic AI, conversation intelligence, and assistive AI to power hundreds of use cases across revenue motions. From new logo prospecting to expansions, deal acceleration, driving retention, and forecasting, Outreach AI automates workflows and frees sellers to focus on more strategic conversations and actions. Revenue leaders benefit from connected account visibility, performance insights, and higher forecasting accuracy across every GTM team. World leading enterprise organizations use Outreach to power their revenue teams, including Databricks, SAP, Siemens, and Verizon to name a few.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of Product, GTM, and Customers. The Director of Product Strategy for Sales Engagement is the product expert who bridges what we build with how we sell, enable, and position it in market.
You will work closely with the Sales Engagement Product team to deeply understand the product direction and roadmap, then evangelize it across GTM teams and customers. You are the person in the room who can speak to where Sales Engagement is going - and why - with authority, clarity, and commercial sharpness.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include:
Evangelizing the Product:
  • Own QBR content and field-facing product updates for Sales Engagement - presenting with depth and conviction
  • Serve as the trusted product expert in customer conversations and strategic sales cycles
  • Build and maintain crisp, business-oriented product collateral: positioning decks, competitive battlecards, release narratives, and roadmap presentations
  • Support analyst relations, investor materials, and board-level content as the voice of Sales Engagement strategy
  • Present the roadmap and demo new capabilities at marquee events - including Customer Advisory Boards and industry conferences

Shaping Strategy:
  • Work closely with the Sales Engagement Product team across time zones, translating market reality into actionable product context and accelerating the evolution into an end-to-end agentic revenue platform.
  • Track the market and competitive landscape and customer feedback, translating that into Outreach positioning and roadmap priorities
  • Guide pricing and packaging decisions, with evolving pricing models for AI-native products

Enabling GTM:
  • Partner with Sales Enablement and Product Marketing to ensure every launch lands accurately and compellingly across the field
  • Handle customer escalations as the product voice - triaging issues, aligning with the Product team, and closing the loop with customers and CS
  • Lead pilots with high-value customers - structuring the engagement, setting success criteria, and ensuring outcomes feed back into the product roadmap
  • Drive adoption and consumption of AI capabilities, partnering with CS and Sales

Our Vision Of You:
  • 8+ years in product management, product strategy, solution consulting, or sales strategy in B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record presenting product strategy to Sales leaders and executive audiences - QBRs, EBCs, SKOs, or equivalent
  • Experience with AI tools for Sales or GTM; knowledge of Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or Gong is a strong plus
  • Exceptional communicator - able to make a complex roadmap land clearly with Sales leaders; low-ego and disciplined collaborator across a distributed team

Bonus if You Have:
  • Background in sales enablement, pre-sales, or revenue operations alongside product experience
  • Prior experience at a company navigating a platform transition

$210,000 - $250,000 a year
The annual base salary range for this role is $210,000-$250,000 USD. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the your skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
#LI-JM1
Why You'll Love It Here
• Flexible time off
• 401k to help you save for the future
• Generous medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees and their dependents
• A parental leave program that includes options for a paid night nurse, and a gradual return to work
• Infertility/ assisted reproductive services benefit
• Employee referral bonuses to encourage the addition of great new people to the team
• Snacks and beverages in the Office, along with fun events to celebrate
• Diversity and inclusion programs that promote employee resource groups like Outreach Women's Network, Latinx community, Outreach Black Connection, AAPI community, Pride/LGBTQIA+, Gender+, Disability Community, and Veterans/Military
Outreach is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
Our success is reliant on building teams that include people from different backgrounds and experiences who can elevate assumptions and ideas with fresh perspectives. We're dedicated to hiring the whole human, not just a resume. To that end, we look for a diverse pool of applicants-including those from historically marginalized groups. We would like to invite you to apply even if you don't think you meet all of the requirements listed below. We don't want a few lines in a job description to get between us and the opportunity to meet you.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
