Job Description
  • Responsible for provider and referral outreach to create and raise awareness of the treatment programs available at Veritas Collaborative.
  • Build and foster relationships with referral sources as well as maintaining current referral relationships and creating new ones.
  • Plans, develops, prepares, and maintains program-specific communications for targeted audiences to enhance program awareness, impact, and reputation
  • Educate professionals in the health industry about eating disorders and Veritas Collaborative
  • Interact with providers via telephone and email.
  • Work independently, and as a participating member of the Outreach team
  • Collaborates with Outreach to promote and educate the referral sources of our program and treatment plans.
  • Works with and advises program management and Leadership, including Executives, to determine specific communication needs, including message development and delivery including best method for communication to targeted audience.
  • Works in collaboration with the Marketing and Intake teams to identify outreach needs and the development of materials.

Qualifications
Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years progressively more responsible related professional experience in mental healthcare, medical sales, or health-related education/outreach.
  • Prefer extensive exposure in communicating with physicians, therapists, medical professionals and social workers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and interpersonal and teaming skills.
  • Must demonstrate computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be patient focused and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with co-workers and key stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism in interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with colleagues, physicians and all referral sources.
  • Ability to understand complex clinical information and translate it for multiple audiences.
  • Knowledge of and comfort with medical terminology specifically related to eating disorders and treatment.
  • Possess an understanding and familiarity with the operation of behavioral healthcare facilities.
  • Must demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and discretion in dealing with confidential information.
  • Must be a self-starter who is well organized, efficient, and exhibits a professional, friendly attitude in person and on the phone.
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Prefer experience in CRM utilization, particularly Salesforce.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 75%, including around and within driving distance of Knoxville and Chattanooga, TN, as well as to other areas of the country.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish, preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable in social media.
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Prefer experience in event planning

Education:
  • Master's degree in social work, or related field strongly preferred, or a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of applicable experience.
