• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify the mental health needs of clients, developing personalized treatment plans informed by best practices.
• Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services, equipping clients to address challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Lead virtual therapy groups and workshops that focus on relevant topics to enhance client understanding and coping strategies.
• Engage collaboratively with healthcare providers, community organizations, and patient support services to uphold a holistic approach to client care.
• Participate in outreach initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness and promoting community wellness, including virtual events and webinars.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations to uphold ethical standards in mental health practice.

The Mental Health Counselor will serve a diverse group of clients from various backgrounds, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health issues. Our client population consists of individuals experiencing stress, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, and mental health disorders. Counselors are expected to provide culturally sensitive care, tailoring interventions to meet unique client needs.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• A thorough understanding of contemporary mental health challenges and the impacts of various illnesses on the diverse populations we serve.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate meaningful interactions with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic models appropriate for online outreach and support.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage a varied caseload effectively, and prioritize tasks based on client needs.

• At least one year of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing telehealth technology for counseling services, alongside familiarity with virtual forms of therapy.
• Previous involvement in outreach or community-based mental health initiatives that aim to promote awareness and education.
