Description
The Outreach Coordinator plays a key role in advancing the organization's mission by strengthening community relationships, increasing awareness of services, and supporting marketing, communications, and fundraising initiatives. This position combines community engagement, digital marketing, and event coordination to expand the organization's visibility and impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and create content across social media platforms
• Design and distribute e-newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials
• Plan and execute fundraising and community events, including venue, vendor, and volunteer coordination
• Represent WCBH at community meetings, events, and outreach opportunities
• Build and support relationships with community partners and stakeholders
• Maintain and update the WCBH website in collaboration with web developers
• Maintain event information in donor database and CRM systems (DonorPerfect)
• Track engagement metrics and report on outreach outcomes
Requirements
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, marketing, or a related role
• Experience managing social media business accounts across multiple platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders
• Experience with event planning and execution
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Basic website management and CMS experience
• Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar tools
• Knowledge of fundraising processes and donor engagement
