Job Title: Outlet Associate
Location:3415 S Tamiami Trl, Punta Gorda, FL 33950
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking an Outlet Associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced outlet environment. This role is essential in delivering friendly, accurate, and safe customer service while assisting with merchandise flow, donation intake, and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and committed to providing a positive customer experience while supporting Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities and strengthening the community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide friendly, fast, accurate, and safe customer service at all times.
  • Price, stock, and merchandise carts or containers brought to the sales floor.
  • Receive donations and greet customers as they enter the outlet.
  • Monitor the entrance area to support safety and customer flow.
  • Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the sales floor and work areas.
  • Build or assist with fixtures and equipment as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to use good judgment and exercise patience and understanding.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, push, pull, and move merchandise.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled work hours.
  • Comfortable with occasionally working in environments where temperatures and climate may fluctuate.
