Job Description

The Outlet Associate provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers. The position is responsible for correctly and efficiently processing sales transactions using the cash register, displaying merchandise, maintaining product stock levels, rotating bins, and loading and unloading bins, all while engaging customers in our mission.

Essential Functions 

•    Greet all customers and provide a positive experience. Resolve customer concerns within authority; obtain management assistance when necessary.
•    Accurately operate registers and follow all money-handling procedures. 
•    Ask all customers to “round up” their purchase to advance our mission, and thank all customers for their purchase. 
•    Encourage customers to complete feedback surveys on their experience.
•    Assist with store displays and the organization of products that promote an enhanced shopping experience. 
•    Serve as a Goodwill Ambassador by consistently demonstrating HGI values and striving to provide excellent service in all interactions.
•    Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash cans, and ensuring hangers and racks are orderly. 
•    Follow all required safety and security procedures. 
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as store policies, to include but not limited to opening and closing tasks, and accurate, timely completion of required paperwork. 
•    Rotate stock as instructed by management. 
•    Participate in training as required, including cross-training for other positions in-store. 
•    Perform all other duties as assigned.
