SUMMARY
An Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Lighting Technician will be responsible for installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems generally in residential settings but occasionally in commercial and hospitality setting as well.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
  • Speaking with the customer to upsell other products
  • Provide customer with system orientation as applicable
  • Proper care and operation of company vehicles
  • Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
  • Running and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
  • Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
  • Clean up of all areas affected by the installation
  • Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
  • Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available
  • Climbing and moving ladders and working on roofs, typically 2-3 stories high
  • Small Truck Driving

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ideal candidate should have varied computer experience.
  • Experience with low voltage electricity preferred
  • Prior outdoor lighting installation experience highly valued
