Job description

Lighting Installation Technician Overview

Join a team that’s lighting up our community — literally! At Atlantic Outdoor Lighting, we specialize in creating beautiful, functional, and inspiring outdoor spaces through landscape lighting, permanent holiday lighting, and seasonal décor. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lighting Installation Technician who takes pride in hands-on work and loves seeing the immediate results of their craftsmanship.

What You’ll Do

  • Install permanent holiday lighting on rooflines, pool cages, lanais, and boat houses
  • Install landscape lighting on trees, garden beds, architecture, and pathways
  • Install seasonal Christmas lighting on homes and subdivision entrances
  • Occasionally install new landscaping plants and maintain them
  • Troubleshoot and repair existing low-voltage lighting systems
  • Renovate and upgrade outdoor lighting for improved performance and aesthetics
  • Use various hand tools, power tools, and ladders to complete projects
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering client questions and ensuring satisfaction

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using power tools and hand tools
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Comfortable using a ladder, shovel, and lifting at least 50 lbs
  • Strong ability to follow directions and work safely
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout Volusia County
  • Must have a valid Drivers License (required for access to gated communities)
