# Director of EngagementVolunteer-to-HireDenver + TravelPosted May 25, 2026Volunteer-to-Hire## About This RoleOur events are where the magic happens. As Director of Engagement, you'll oversee in-person programming across all Sober Outdoors chapters — from Denver snowshoe hikes to Austin trail runs. You'll build systems that scale, manage chapter leaders, and work alongside our Director of Community to create seamless member journeys from first click to first summit. Volunteer-to-Hire: This role begins as a volunteer position. As Sober Outdoors grows and secures funding, high-performing volunteers in this role will be among the first considered for paid positions.
