Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Generate leads by cold-calling potential customers from lists generated by Sales and Marketing.
  • Qualify and pass leads for walk-in customers, Marketing campaigns, Caterpillar, and internal leads created by the parts and service team.
  • Collect and maintain customer information, including contact information, address, phone, and email addresses.
  • Maintain entire library of sales and technical product literature. Promptly provide all customers and potential customers with up-to-date product literature upon request.
  • Outbound calls to drive attendance at Marketing events.
  • Act as information contact point noted on Marketing campaigns.
  • Follow-up customer service calls after sales to gauge satisfaction with sales process.
  • Occasional Saturdays may be required


RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and CRM systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
  • Bilingual, a plus
