Job description

ABOUT US

We’re a growing 3PL (third-party logistics) company dedicated to excellent service and innovative fulfillment solutions. At our Fairfield, OH facility (OH1), we’re hiring a DTC Outbound Area Manager to lead our Direct-to-Consumer fulfillment operation — driving daily performance, managing a team of leads and associates, and making sure every single order ships accurately and on time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage daily DTC outbound fulfillment performance — accuracy, on-time shipment, and order completeness across all shifts

• Lead, coach, and develop DTC team leads and their fulfillment crews to consistently hit performance targets

• Conduct team meetings, hold associates accountable to productivity and quality standards, and address performance issues directly

• Train new hires on DTC SOPs, picking and packing workflows, carrier requirements, and quality checks

• Manage and optimize labor hours daily to meet revenue goals while maintaining accuracy, quality, and safety

• Monitor order queues, wave planning, and packing stations to keep DTC flow moving without bottlenecks

• Partner cross-functionally with Inbound, Inventory, IT, and Client Relations to ensure DTC orders ship cleanly

• Enforce compliance with carrier routing requirements, packaging standards, and DTC SLAs to prevent chargebacks and re-ships

• Identify and escalate operational risks, bottlenecks, and process gaps — then drive the fix

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce error rates, improve throughput, and lower cost per unit

• Be available and present during peak seasons, volume surges, and DTC client launches

• Participate in client calls and provide operational updates as needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience: proven leadership in a high-volume DTC fulfillment, e-commerce, or 3PL environment

Leadership & Accountability: you develop your team, hold people to standards, and don’t avoid hard conversations

DTC Knowledge: you understand consumer order fulfillment, carrier compliance, packaging standards, and SLA management

Operations Mindset: data-driven, floor-first leader who manages by metrics and coaches in the moment

Safety: OSHA basics and a safety-first mindset — you protect your people

Communication: clear, professional, and direct — comfortable presenting updates to leadership and joining client calls

Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred

Physical: on your feet most of the shift · lift up to 50 lbs as needed

WHY JOIN US

• Direct impact on DTC operations and client satisfaction from day one

• Leadership Bonus Plan — your performance is rewarded

• Collaborative and supportive team environment at our OH1 facility

• Real growth potential as our company continues to expand across multiple sites

• Be part of a team that moves fast, solves problems, and gets things done

• Leadership bonus
