Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is an American Sports and Entertainment holding company based in Denver, Colorado. KSE is committed to providing world class sports and entertainment for both live and broadcast audiences. We are the employer of choice as the owner and operator of Ball Arena, DICK'S Sporting Goods Park, the Paramount Theatre, Denver Nuggets (NBA), the Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Colorado Rapids (MLS), KIMN, KXKL, KKSE (FM/AM), Altitude Sports & Entertainment, Major League Fishing/Fishing League Worldwide (MLFLW), Winnercomm, Outdoor Sportsman Group and SkyCam.
Nature of Work:
The Traffic Manager will be responsible for the management of the OSG traffic team that produces daily commercial logs. This position will ensure that all inventory is managed in accordance with network requirements. The traffic manager will also be tasked with evaluating traffic workflows and procedures for all OSG Networks and change processes to implement best practices where necessary. This position will work closely with sales, programming, accounting, and the promo group. Additionally, the traffic manager will be expected to train and supervise members of the OSG Traffic team. This position requires a high degree of flexibility and ability to work with constantly changing environments.
Examples of work performed:
  • Supervise workflow, create and delegate job assignments and assume final responsibility for log quality control
  • Manage all commercial continuity processes and assist with traffic instructions and materials if necessary
  • Manage traffic deadlines for broadcast deliverables. Maintain these schedules in cooperation with ad sales, programming, media team and promo team to ensure materials are delivered on time.
  • Builds and cast out formats as necessary
  • Assist with dub and purge lists for all OSG Networks as necessary
  • Troubleshoot any traffic issues that may arise with operations, sales, etc.
  • Assist with producer communication, splits, deadlines, continuity, and protected categories
  • Manage CRTC reconciliation and work with programming on CRTC reporting
  • Communicate and troubleshoot issues that may arise with Nextologies
  • Oversee the flow of projects through the traffic department
  • Multi-task on various projects
  • Collaborate with sales management to maximize all avails and trouble shoot any contract or traffic issues
  • Provide regular feedback to sales management as to system efficiencies
  • Establish strong professional partnerships with the media sales, operations, programming, and accounting.
  • Work closely with Wide Orbit team to resolve issues, provide feedback, and complete any additional training necessary to improve proficiency
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends as they relate to ad ops/trafficking
  • On call to manage any last-minute issues that may arise with traffic responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Minimum
    • BS/BA degree in field or related field
    • 10+ years' experience in field
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    • Understanding and experience with CRTC rules and reporting
    • Understanding and experience with Time Buy producer revenue
    • Understanding and experience with inputting WO orders and deals

Compensation
  • Base salary range $64,000-$69,000 per year
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
