Job description

Summary

Hello Darling/Flora is seeking a full time lead prep cook to join our growing team. We are looking for a candidate that will take ownership of the kitchen. As lead prep cook with Hello Darling Flora you will be responsible for overseeing inventory across four locations, writing order lists, production schedules, and distribution schedules. You will also assist with menu development and improvement, the production of syrups, beverage infusions, small food items, and the distribution products to our four locations. At this time, we require that you use your own vehicle. We are a small team committed to consistency and quality of product.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of kitchen management experience with food safety qualifications. You have experience with overseeing inventory, prep lists, and quality of product. You are incredibly organized, clean, and capable of working efficiently in a small space. You are able to use your own vehicle to transport items from our production space to each of our locations across Denver. You are committed to maintaining a collaborative and supportive environment for your colleagues. You have a passion for intuitive hospitality and genuine care for the work you do.


Key Responsibilities

Oversee Inventory across 4 locations
Create Order Lists, Production Schedules, Distribution Schedules
Contribute to menu development and recipe writing
Prepare syrups, infusions, and assemble small food items

Distribute products across our four locations in Denver

Periodically record inventory

Receive and organize deliveries

Maintain organized cold and dry storage

Clean and close the kitchen at the end of each shift with attention to food safety standards

Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment


Desired Qualifications

2+ years experience in a kitchen management role

Craft coffee or cocktail experience is a plus!

Hospitality-first work ethic

Weekend availability
