Job description

Our Human Capital practice is redefining how organizations create value in an age where human ingenuity meets machine intelligence. As AI and automation accelerate, we help clients design work that scales both human potential and organizational performance.

Technology alone doesn't deliver transformation-the way humans and machines work together does. Our mission is to make work better for humans, and humans better with machines, helping enterprises unlock enduring value through intentional work design, human-centered strategy, and AI-enabled execution.

Recruiting for this role ends on 08/31/2026.

Work you'll do

As a Senior Consultant on the Organization, Workforce & Change team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting cross-functional teams to design AI-era workforce strategies that align human capability and machine capacity
  • Helping clients architect human-centered artificial intelligence adoption, value realization, and intentional work design
  • Guiding workforce strategy engagements across areas such as future of work, talent acquisition, talent marketplace, workforce analytics, workforce planning, and workforce and talent strategy
  • Developing next-generation workforce solutions through analytics, scenario modeling, and simulation tools such as Digital Twins, Workforce Analyzer, and Work Design Canvas
  • Supporting the business impact of new technologies, platforms, processes, and systems while contributing to artificial intelligence literacy, leadership development, and thought leadership on the future of work

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
  • Ability to lead projects or workstreams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to provide clear guidance to others

The team

Our Organization, Workforce & Change practice leads Deloitte's Humans Machines approach-combining behavioral science, data, and AI to architect the future of work.

We partner with business and HR leaders to reimagine how value is created, integrating human and machine capabilities seamlessly across the enterprise.

The team helps clients scale their human edge-that distinct combination of creativity, empathy, and judgment amplified by intelligent technologies-to drive trust, adaptability, and performance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 4+ years of experience in workforce functions and processes in one or more of the following areas: workforce strategy and solutions, workforce capabilities, talent acquisition, or workforce and talent analytics
  • 2+ years of experience supporting workforce strategy projects and teams
  • Experience supporting 2+ cross-functional initiatives to design and implement human-centered artificial intelligence strategies that contributed to 10%+ cycle-time reduction through optimized human-machine collaboration
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of consulting experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing junior staff and leading small to medium-sized teams
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Experience developing and delivering client presentations
  • Experience facilitating client or team working sessions

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,200 to $229,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
