What does an order packer do?

An Order Packer is responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment by picking items from inventory, checking them for accuracy and quality, and securely packaging them for delivery. They often work in warehouses or distribution centers, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and packed to prevent damage during transit. Order Packers play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are complete and shipped on time. Their daily tasks may also include maintaining inventory records and keeping the packing area clean and organized.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an order packer?

To thrive as an Order Packer, you need attention to detail, organizational skills, and the physical ability to stand and lift for extended periods, with a high school diploma often preferred. These skills and qualities are crucial to ensure accurate order fulfillment, minimize errors, and support smooth warehouse operations.
